Riley stove ovens are built with double insulated bottoms to prevent scorching and are set on top of stoves for baking. The true temperature on the inside of the ovens is about 100 degrees hotter than the reading of the gauge on the front door. The Sour Dough oven (15 lb.) has two removable shelves, and its dimensions are 11 1/2" x 17" x 11".
